Today we launch ussunnah.org, the new digital home for the us-Sunnah Foundation. This launch marks over a decade of humanitarian service that has changed the lives of thousands of orphans and Rohingya refugees in Indonesia, alhamdulillah.
A Decade of Making a Difference
Since 2014, the us-Sunnah Foundation has served on the front lines of humanitarian aid in Indonesia, focusing on the most vulnerable among us: orphans and refugees. What started as a small initiative has grown into an organization that has:
- Delivered millions of meals to those in need
- Built numerous shelters for displaced families
- Provided ongoing support to thousands of orphans
- Offered vital medical care and supplies to Rohingya refugees
Our Mission and Approach
The us-Sunnah Foundation operates on a simple principle. We don’t just provide temporary relief. We work to create lasting change in the lives of those we serve. Our three main campaigns reflect this approach:
1. Orphan Support Program
For just $50 per month, sponsors can cover all essential needs for an orphan, including:
- Nutritious meals and clean water
- Quality education and school supplies
- Healthcare and medical treatment
- Safe shelter and clothing
This support ensures that orphans don’t just survive, but have the chance to thrive and build better futures, inshaa’ Allah.
2. Rohingya Refugee Aid
The Rohingya crisis remains one of the world’s most pressing humanitarian challenges. Our foundation provides:

- Medical care and medications
- Temporary shelter and basic necessities
- Trauma support and counseling services
3. Waqf Investment Program
To ensure lasting funding for our humanitarian work, we’ve established a Waqf (Islamic endowment) program that generates ongoing support through ethical investments. This approach helps us keep our commitment that 100% of regular donations go directly to those in need.
